What is Website Profit Monster? Product Overview
Website Profit Monster is a turnkey web design system made by Nick Ponte and Tom Gaddis. They found their local business clients were asking for very similar features on their websites, had similar objections, and overall responded to a similar sales funnel. After they noticed the pattern, they decided to design a sales funnel and WordPress theme to make attracting clients a turnkey process.
An Inside Look at the Sales Funnel
It’s always nice to know what happens after you press “buy now”, right? Well, here’s the breakdown of how it goes with Website Profit Monster…
The Product >> Upsell 1 >> Upsell 2 >>
First, you have the sales page where they explain why the product is good, how they guarantee their product, and the bonuses you get for purchasing. After you buy the product there are two upsells before you get to view your product. Here’s what the upsells look like…
Upsell #1: The Sales, Proposals, and Intake Forms
Their first upsell includes:
- Sales emails
- Pricing Matrix
- Prospecting Emails
- Client Intake Forms
- Do-it-Yourself Service Agreements and Website Proposals
- Informal Website Proposals
- and Lead Magnets
As a result, you’d have the Website Profit Monster Theme and other important forms to sell your web design services.
Price: $27 (at the time of this writing)
Upsell #2: The Foot in the Door Formula
If you’ve been selling web design or local search engine optimization services, you know that many business owners do selective listening after you tell them what you offer. It’s likely they’ve been spammed by many foreign or spam companies who call every number on Yelp, the Yellow Pages, and other online directories. They get nonstop email spam saying, “I can helpl you get your website on page 1 of Google”, and it can get tough to stand out in the crowd. As a result, the local businesses don’t even consider how valuable your services may be to them.
I’ve heard many entrepreneurs who tell me they were scammed, someone said they would build a website for them, took their money, and disappeared. It’s ashame! The bad apples make it hard for the few good apples.
The Foot in the Door Formula is supposed to help you break past those common objections.
Price: $19 (at the time of this writing)
My Advice on the Upsells
If you’re new to the web design business or you want to upgrade your processes, and the added courses and forms can help, you may want to take a look at the upsells. For me, I chose to purchase the upsells and I can write my review on those separately. Some people pay attorneys to draft the same forms, and it can cost upwards of $100 just for the service agreement! $27 for the forms package isn’t a bad deal.
If you don’t have sales experience, and you’re stuck trying to overcome the common objections related to selling web design services, Foot in the Door Formula might be helpful for you.
How Does Website Profit Monster Work?
If you’re concerned about how the actual Website Profit Monster product works, let me tell you…I actually set it up on this website!
What Happens After Purchase
After purchasing the product, you’ll be sent to a page similar to this…
You access your purchase, which is a membership site with downloads embedded.
The Membership Area
Website Profit Monster isn’t like the typical theme purchase. After you create a username and password, you are sent into a membership area that looks like this…
As you can see, there’s several courses there, and the courses aren’t simply on how to use the theme. Instead, Tom and Nick have given courses to teach their model of running a turnkey digital agency. They teach you about sales and prospecting, building websites, and providing a good and consistent customer experience. Since they sell the Website Profit Monster as an unlimited license, you can use the theme over and over on different client sites without incurring new or additional costs, which means, you have alot of potential for profit!
How Do You Make Money with Website Profit Monster?
The system taught inside of Website Profit Monster is supplementary to those people who want to run a marketing agency. Tom and Nick teach their Offline Sharks to sell their marketing services to local businesses: dentists, doctors, lawyers, realtors, roofers, construction companies, etc.
The second way you can make money with Website Profit Monster is if you become an affiliate. The Website Profit Monster system is sold thru WarriorPlus, so you can become an affiliate there by creating an account, and getting approved. The product creators of Website Profit Monster have set pretty high standards on who can become an affiliate and who cannot. To be an affiliate, you have to have 100 or more sales and a low refund rate. As a result of the affiliate criteria, it’s more likely the people who are affiliates are people who sell products that people are satified with.
How Much Can you Make with Website Profit Monster?
When you get in the groove of prospecting and selling your services, and you use the Website Profit Monster system, it’s possible to churn out quite a few websites. The amount you’d make would be based on how much you charge in your area, how many clients you take on, and how much your business expenses cut into that. The Website Profit Monster system only gives you a WordPress theme and a system to sell the theme as a web design service for local business.
You aren’t given pricing matrixes, quotas, or any other metrics that would dictate your earning potential.
How Do I Get Started with Website Profit Monster?
To get started with Website Profit Monster, you’d visit the Offline Sharks website HERE and purchase the Website Profit Monster system. After your purchase, you’ll be able to create an account to their membership site, dowload the theme, take the course, and join the Offline Sharks Facebook group.
When and How Does Website Profit Monster Pay?
If you become an affiliate of Website Profit Monster thru WarriorPlus, you can make a commission of 50% for each sale, and 50% on each upsell. If a person bought Website Profit Monster at the full price of $97 (at the time of this writing), then you could make $48.50 per sale. WarriorPlus pays instant commissions, therefore, you could get your pay right away.
The Good & the Bad
PRO #1: Website Profit Monster is a good WordPress Theme
PRO #2: The training inside the membership area is very good if you already have some basic knowledge of WordPress
PRO #3: Having a theme like Website Profit Monster that makes your web design business more turnkey can increase your proficiency and profit
CON #1: If you want to run a digital agency, you probably should consider buying additional courses for proficiency
CON #2: I’ve tried contacting the Offline Sharks support and have only gotten automated responses. They may be slower to respond because it’s the Christmas holiday season, but I’m unsure how responsive their support is on a regular basis.
Who is Website Profit Monster For?
Information regarding “who” the audience the product is targeted at and who will benefit from the product
What Are Common Complaints About Website Profit Monster?
Although I can see that Website Profit Monster has a 3% refund rate, I haven’t found complaints that say why. From my standpoint, it was easy to use, easy to install, and performed consistent to what they proposed, so I’m unsure why some people chose to get refunds, but there may be dissatisfied customers out there.
What Are Common Positive Feedback About Website Profit Monster?
While 3% requested a refund for Website Profit Monster, more than 2000 people bought the product! Therefore, about 60 people out of 2000 asked for a refund–that’s really low. Added to the refund stats, there are several reviews on the product out there and most of the reviews appear to be positive.
What’s The BBB Saying About Website Profit Monster?
If you require an opinion from the BBB to decide whether a business is credible or not, you may be disappointed to find that Website Profit Monster or Offline Sharks (the surname of the product creators) are not listed with the BBB. Alternatively, Nick Ponte Marketing is listed, but I wasn’t able to find anything associated with Tom Gaddis. Here’s Nick Ponte’s BBB listing…
Website Profit Monster Price
The Website Profit Monster is $97 with two upsells: one $19 and one $27
My Final Opinion of Website Profit Monster
Website Profit Monster is a great product. I’ve personally used it to create a website. When I used Wealthy Affiliate’s hosting and website builder, my website was up and running in 30 seconds, then I added Website Profit Monster theme, and was able to have a beautiful website in less than 8 hours. When I added the analytics and other SEO features, it made the website setup take a complete work day, however, I can increase my efficiency now that I understand all of the theme features and customization options.
I’d definitely recommend this product. The pricing of $97 is consistent with what you might pay for a premium theme without the training and without a developer’s license. I think the product is a great value for the price and can help digital agencies to either refresh old skills or acquire new skills in web design, sales prospecting, and customer fulfillment.
