It’s likely that if you’re here, you or someone you know is a legal professional. Maybe you help people get sound legal advice, or maybe you give legal advice, and you’re looking for a way to leverage the amazing opportunities available to you thru partnering with an affiliate partner. This list of 10 Best Legal Affiliate programs will give you some direction for where to start.

Most times when I meet entrepreneurs in the legal profession, they make majority of their income from selling their products or services. They might offer legal consulting, form creation, or some variation.

The problem is if they:

  • Get sick
  • Need to care for a loved one
  • Want to take a vacation
  • Or, need to show up for a special occasion (outside of work)

They are likely stuck. They might have client deadlines and their time is directly correlated with their income. Even worse, if they’re in the concept phase where they’ve just decided they’d like to start a practice of their own, the first step is usually to:

  • Buy office supplies
  • Rent an office space
  • Or, invest heavily into the client fulfillment process

In this article, I’ll be sharing with you great legal affiliate programs you can use to diversify your income streams, add in more passive income, or validate your business idea (if you’re in the concept phase). If you’re unfamiliar with affiliate marketing, and you’d like to learn how to make a side income, full-time income, or more, then check out my #1 recommended Affiliate Marketing training program here.

How Affiliate Marketing Works

Blocks that say 'it is marketing'

You might have heard of people who pay for referrals to their products or services, right? Let’s say for example, you’re a business lawyer and you make friends with an accountant who might have a similar target audience. You each can leverage one another’s connections.

She can pay you for leads you send her, and you can pay her for leads she sends you. You can do the same thing with your clients. If they share your services, and someone becomes a client as a result of their referral, you could pay a commission for the sale to incentivize sharing–this is the core of affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing has become much more sophisticated than the traditional referral method. With the traditional referral method, it was:

  • Difficult to track/remember who referred who
  • It may not yield consistent referrals
  • and, it is more challenging to “recruit” people who would share your services

Now, there’s software to track impressions, clicks, and sales, so you’ll know exactly who is sending referrals. The organization of the affiliate program incentivizes people to join, and some people even take affiliate marketing serious enough to make full-time incomes from it. It’s become the evolution of the old shool sales model.

Now, rather than hiring traditional salespeople, doing door-to-door, or cold calling, merchants can work with affiliate who have influence within a relevant niche. You can become an affiliate, a merchant, or both (which I personally recommend).

As an affiliate, you’d use an affiliate program (like the ones I’m mentioning below) and promote someone else’s products and services on your website, and get commissions in exchange for a sale. As a merchant, you’d create an affiliate program, recruit affiliates, and split the revenue with the affiliate when they get a sale.

In this case, the niche would have to be relevant to an audience looking for legal advice, so I’ve compiled this list of 10 legal affiliate programs.

1. Rocket Lawyer Affiliate Program

If there’s an area within the legal industry that you don’t consult on, then you can refer the clients to a place like Rocket Lawyer where a diverse array of lawyers are available, AND you can get commissions for referring them. 10 thoughts on “10 Best Legal Affiliate Programs & How You Can Make Money with Them”

  1. Thanks, I didn’t know that you could do affiliate programs to promote Legal Services. But legal services are definitely in high demand and make good amount of money. I like how you give a video component as well as an article component for your website.
Right now I am in a different Niche but I will save your page for later if I have any room to Put affiliate links for legal services.

  2. Though I’m not into the legal niche but then, my colleague at work majors on this niche and I’m sure that this would be of immense help to him. Thanks so much for this. If I were to be in this niche, I will favor the Corpnet offer. They provide a worthy affiliate program and it would be a delight to earn through this platform. Thanks

  3. This in my opinion is very good. This legal programmes are very awesome looking at how well many people search for legal assistance on different issues. I just joined an affiliate marketing platform and I think this is a good niche for me to jump on. I think I’ll try udemy. Thank you for this comprehensive review. You have given me a good niche idea. Thanks

    1. You’re welcome! Udemy is a great affiliate program because they have thousands of helpful courses that answer the questions many people search for online. Best wishes with your new niche!

  4. Hi, some of these affiliate programs you mentioned offer very good commissions. Now, if I just had a website offering legal advice, right;-) ?But, honestly, I had no idea that affiliate marketing also applied to law firms. It’s even more surprising that they can be found on shareasale. I thought that shareasale only included businesses that sold products like foods, clothing, technology, etc. I learned something new today. And it is interesting. It makes sense though. So many businesses get referred by word of mouth, so why not by affiliate marketing links.

How would you go about creating a website to incorporate these legal affiliate programs? What niche(s) would be best for this?

    1. You’re right Christine! There are some great affiliate programs in the legal niche. I’d recommend legal affiliate programs to businesses or websites whose target audience are entrepreneurs. Sites like accounting advice, legal advice, real estate, investing, personal finance, business, or others whose target audience is businesses and business owners.

  5. Excellent article on the best legal affiliate programs,it is educational because I’ve not read something like this in the past. I had never heard of legal affiliate programs where you can refer clients to get legal advice. Of all these, I would prefer LegalNature because it’s exclusively a DIY form creator website. It’s a software-as-a-service business, and I like that model. Thanks for sharing

    1. I’m glad I’ve been able to introduce you to something new! Thanks for sharing your opinion as well. Best wishes in growing your business.
