If you’re looking to learn about the best landing page software for affiliate marketers, you’re in the right place. Here, we’ll be talking about the top landing page software affiliate marketers use to drive sales online.

If you’ve been in affiliate marketing for some time, you’ve probably looked around at other websites, and seen that very successful sites have more than just blog posts, videos, podcasts, or ads. You probably see fancy pages with webinars, email optins, countdown timers, animation, special buttons, color blocks, video backgrounds, and other really nice design elements.

Ads and blog posts are great for attracting new customers to keywords, but once the customers land on your website, there has to be a sequence of events there that escorts them from the awareness phase of the buyer’s journey to making a purchase–the tools most affiliate marketers use to pull this off is called “landing pages”.

What are Landing Pages For?

Odds are, you’ve been to an offline retail location, right?

A place like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, or another store where you look around at goods and buy what you want. You may not have noticed how they line the checkout with candy and things you might buy impulsively.  They also layout the store to ensure they get the highest profit from their store. Tweaking the layout of the store in order to get the highest number of sales can be called “conversion optimization“.

Similar to how offline stores move clothes racks and candy isles around to make it the best user experience and the highest profits, online stores do the same thing! They create content that’s optimized for keywords users look online for, they interlink content from post to post to make it easy for users to find the most relevant topics they’re looking for, and they use landing pages and stellar copywriting to further explain products and services, and make the buying decision as easy and painless as possible.

How I Identified These Solutions

In 2017, I started How to Entrepreneur as a blog. I was posting articles here every day to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Once I started to get traffic to my website, I realized I needed to put in more effort to convert more of the traffic to sales–that’s when I started paying more attention to landing pages and conversion optimization tools.

I networked with other successful affiliate marketers and took courses, then I realized many of them were using landing pages or “funnel software” to help escort customers thru the buyer’s journey. The solutions I’ll be sharing with you are the top landing page solutions you’ll see used by top affiliate marketers.

1. Elementor

Elementor is a WordPress plugin that can be uploaded to any WordPress website. It has several templates you can use to create very nice looking landing pages. I’ve used Elementor to make many of the landing pages you see at How to Entrepreneur as of this writing.

Who is this best for

  • Those who have WordPress websites
  • Those who would be interested or willing to create WordPress websites

What They Offer

  • A WordPress plugin for landing pages
  • Tech support

What They are Missing

  • They don’t offer countdown timers
  • Sometimes, the animation is not mobile-friendly

Elementor has a free and paid version. They use the freemium model where you only have to pay if you want additional features. The free version is often adequate for startups, but once you get more traffic and income coming in, then the pro version is ideal.

How to Get Started

You can get started for free with the Elementor plugin by going here.

2. Clickfunnels

Clickfunnels is a common software tool used by many very successful affiliates. In fact, they have people earning 7 and 8 figures using Clickfunnels! It’s not what I use personally.

Who is this best for

I prefer WordPress, and to be honest, I haven’t given it a fair chance because the overhead cost has been more than I wanted, however, for those who don’t mind the extra cost and who don’t like using WordPress for landing pages, Clickfunnels may be a good option.

What They Offer

A software suite that helps you to build a website that’s designed for conversions, build landing pages that accent a website, build a membership site, creat an affiliate program, and more.

What They are Missing

It doesn’t have the functionality you’d need if you wanted to use content marketing as you’re sole method of driving traffic. It’s not for blogging, vlodding, or podcasting. Instead, it’s best when it’s used for paid traffic or connected to a high traffic site.

Clickfunnels basic plan starts at $97/mo and goes up from there.

3. Thrive Themes

Thrive Themes is a WordPress suite of conversion tools.

Who is this best for

  • This is best for someone who wants a drag and drop builder
  • Someone who wants courses on conversion optimization
  • And, someone looking for a conversion bundle of tools

What They Offer

They offer countdown timers, email list building tools, landing pages, WordPress themes, online course plugins, and more.

What They are Missing

Thrive has avid fans. I’ve been using the tools on and off for the last two years. The only problem I’ve noticed is the tools tend to slow down your website. I’ve personally had problems with that, but it may be because I like using many of the animation features when I have Thrive installed.

You can buy individual plugins for a one-time price ranging from $67 or you can get all of the plugins and training with their annual membership for $299.

4. LeadPages

Leadpages is one of the most popular landing page and conversion tool suites of software. While I wouldn’t recommend it, some people prefer to use landing page software instead of a website, and it’s up to you.

Who is this best for

  • Those who want to create landing pages separate from WordPress websites
  • Those looking for a more cost-effective alternative to Clickfunnels
  • Those who want a drag and drop landing page builder

What They Offer

They offer landing pages, in-depth analytics, integration with Google Analytics, Facebook, email marketing, and more. You’ll be able to see how your campaigns are performing easier because of how Leadpages compiles the data for you.

What They are Missing

Leadpages doesn’t offer the functionality for content marketing, so you’d need to create a website elsewhere and connect it to Leadpages if you wanted to use content marketing to drive traffic.

Leadpages starts at $25/mo. You can see more pricing by going here.

How to Get Started

You can get started with a 14-day free trial when you go here.
